In the memorial week for 2023 no meeting is planned, therefore the programme for the weeks following the Memorial have been moved forward by TheoBase -i.e. the week of "10 -16 April "appears under week of "3 -9 April" and so on.

Last year we had the same problem and a funktioning solution was found under the search string "Don't do it twice!" It was posted by Daniel (last name not known)  Is there a similar solution this year?  Or is it possible to simply change the dates of the meetings by hand?

== I change my suggestion below: the problem seems to occur only when Memorial exception has not been defined before importing the workbook. Define exception ( as soon as you know date: so make sure to already define 24-03-2024 and 12-04-2025 as well), then import workbook. This works only if you haven't already tried to import the workbook ==

Code for 2023 has not been written apparently. So do not import the workbook before an update has come. If you have imported it: delete it (Settings, LMM Meeting, Scheudle tab) and wait for an update of TB.

If you insist on correcting: the quick solution was here: https://www.theocbase.net/support-forum/post/8918-march%E2%80%93april-workbook.html#reply-8924 Maybe you can update the text file in the attachment with the correct dates and execute it.

Or you can enter the database and manually change the dates in the respective tables.

@Peter: So the Memorial exception is respected, or not?

@Marc: Yes it is.

Hello Marc,

thanks again for the video. I followed it closely, but sadly, for me it didn't do the trick.  Still, your video was very much appreciated, because it showed me how to use your prefered sqlite browser effectively and I could change the dates manually. Now everything works as it should.

Peter :)

@peter
This story keeps amazing me. I have this test database and it hadn't the 2023 Memorial defined. I import the workbook to create a starting point similar to yours, and it just skips that week... just as it should. I post a link to a video at the bottom, but please read this:

BACKUP database first (setttings in TB)
Then click Open database location, this takes you directly to the file you need, and it is always called theocbase.sqlite
Make sure to close TB after you have been taken to the database. Keeping TB open will cause issues when trying to save changes.

You want to delete from the database anything related to March and April 2023. You look at these 4 tables: lmm_schedule_assist , lmm_schedule , lmm_assignment (may not hold anything for those months if nothing was assigned yet) and lmm_schedule. Find the respective tables and filter for the months as in the video. Do not filter for just the year, so you won't accidentally remove Jan/Feb items.

Close and Save database, restart TB, choose backup database FIRST (so you don't have to go through this procedure again if anything goes wrong), define the Memorial date (and make sure it is set OK: no midweek meeting and weekend meeting on your regular weekend meeting day), then reimport workbook.

Hi Marc, I couldn't get you at jwpub. The username seemed too long when the jwpub was added.

Anyway, I did already install the DB Browser SQLite on my laptop. It would really be great to see a video on how to do it. Of course a screenshare session would be ideal. ----------

You do not reinstall TB (on the contrary, those who tried to get rid of the database by reinstalling, found the database still intact!)

I am thinking about doing a screenshare session through AnyDesk (mail me at my jwpub address, my username is theunissenm) or maybe I'll try to post a video of how to do it. To clear the database, you first need to download a database browser, see software link in my signature below.

@peter: you may have to clear TB, and the database for that matter, before giving it a try again. The previously imported info may be hidden, but not gone, and be in the way.

Hi Marc, I was kind of afraid of that. Does that meam to re-install  TB ? I have a backup of the .sqlite file frm before. Is that the database ? or is there something else in the cloud?

Hello Henry, thank you for the swift reply.

I see it and believe it, yet it doesnt seem to work for me (?)

This morning I downloaded once again the epub from jw.org "Arbeitshefte" and assume, that it is the latest version.

I did exactly  (again) what you did, but  unsuccessfully.   Did you download the epub from the same source I did?

Attached is my result.

the warning 'missing dates' has been there every year since we do not have midweek meetings when Memorial is midweek. You will see it if you return to others years; it is nothing to worry about.

Hello Henry,

Thanks for your reply. I am glad, if this worked for you, but

I also imported the epub and everything went well. (In German)

I also I defined this week as an exception, memorial.

Nevertheless, the programme for the week of 10 - 16 April still appears with the date of the memorial weekand and the following weeks are the same and the week 24-30 April is without content. Defining the memorial as exemtion, like defining Assemblies, only leaves them out of the Schedule, but does not move the meeting to its proper date.

Btw, I don't find the comment in the manual shedule: missing data for the memorial week. This is the programme file I imported from the website:   mwb_X_202303.epub

Maybe you can send me the epub you imported from.

Hello Marc,

thanks for the warning about making a backup. I used last years solution with modifibed dates, but sadly it didn't work.

I conclude you have not seen the button 'open database location' in Settings before. (also see the 4th post from the top in this forum) That is just fine, but maybe also an indication that you may want to reconsider before getting courageous. Anyway if you do: be sure to backup first.

Thank you very much Marc.

I probably will follow your suggestion to wait for an update.

Just in case I get to be couragous and try the other suggestion:

"Or you can enter the database and manually change the dates in the respective tables."

How/where do I find the database?
