as stated in the title, when opening the print menu, the preview panel stays empty and the whole form appears readonly. In addition, the system shows the wait-cursor when hovering (not visible in the screenshot)

Can't really say when this started, but it's like a year or so now, so it might have started with Fedora 34. Thought it was my machine, but even after migrating my stuff to a new machine with a freshly installed fedora 36 it didn't go away.

Currently, I am doing the planning on my linux workstation and then syncthing the database to my wife's windows machine to do the printing. Works, but isn't optimal. Ideas?

Update, found this thread in italian.

https://www.theocbase.net/discussions/post/9327-print-problem-on-linux-version.html

The solution works:

sudo nano /opt/TheocBase/theocbase.sh

Last line needs an additional --no-sandbox

$dirname/AppRun --no-sandbox $*

Sure:

dnf list installed | grep qt5-qtbase
qt5-qtbase.x86_64                                      5.15.6-1.fc37
qt5-qtbase-common.noarch                               5.15.6-1.fc37
qt5-qtbase-gui.x86_64                                  5.15.6-1.fc37
qt5-qtbase-mysql.x86_64                                5.15.6-1.fc37

Note that there is also 6.3.1-4.fc37 installed. Don't know if this matters.

Thank you.

You confirm what we found. TB is still released with the latest official built QT5: QT5.15.2!
it seems that QT5 reacts differently since QT 5.15.3…
TB does not run with QT6!

Hi. Marc.
This solution solves this problem.

In fact, it's not your Fedora or KDE that cause problem. Can you please confirm which version of QT is embedded in the Linux version you are using? 5.15.3 or oldier?
